Free Printable Crayon Valentine Coloring Cards
These free printable coloring cards make the cutest interactive valentines for kids! Just add crayons for a fun valentine kids can color.
Looking for unique, non-candy valentines that kids will love? I got you.
These free printable coloring cards are so adorable and perfect for Valentine’s Day! There are lots of ways you could use these printable cards, but adding a small box of crayons (or even just a few crayons taped to the back of the card) is a great way to make these valentines interactive.
I designed three pages of these coloring valentines with various images that kids can color (plus a fourth page of just the heart rainbow image in case you want all your valentines to be uniform). The valentines say “Color me happy to be your friend!” with a spot to write who it’s from. They print four to a page.
Though most of the coloring images are heart-themed, they’re all generic enough that you could use these for birthday party favors or other friend gifts, too.

Supplies needed to make these crayon valentines
- white cardstock
- color printer
- paper trimmer or scissors
- 8-count boxes of crayons–or snag the 24-count boxes in the summer during back-to-school sales when they’re $0.25! I can’t speak to the quality, but these pre-packaged sets would also be a nice inexpensive option!
- washi tape, ribbon, and/or clear treat bags

How to use these valentine coloring card printables
Download the free printable valentines below. Print at 100% scale and select borderless printing so the images don’t get cut off. Print on white cardstock.
Using a paper trimmer, cut out each valentine card (you can also use scissors, but a paper trimmer will give you perfect straight edges so it’s a worthwhile investment if you don’t already have one).
Have your child write their name next to the “From.”
If using boxes of crayons, tie to the cards with a ribbon (you may need to do a better gift wrap-style bow than what I’ve got pictured so the crayons stay attached with the card, where the ribbon wraps side to side as well as top to bottom, crossing on the back–hopefully you know what I mean?).
You could also place the cards and crayons in a clear treat bag and tie with a ribbon.
If you want to save a little money or are taking crayons from 24-count packs that you might have bought when they went on back-to-school sales, you can just tape a few crayons to the back of each card with some washi tape or colored masking tape. Or use these sets (they’re like what restaurants give out with kids menus).

And your valentines are ready to go! So easy!
