Free Printable Easter Bingo Cards – Great for Kids!

Grab these free printable Easter Bingo cards to play at Easter parties or use for family game night. Get up to 40 bingo cards!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays! I appreciate the greater focus on Jesus Christ and the message of love and hope that His gift of sacrifice and the Resurrection offers each of us. I love the time of year, with spring tulips and warming temperatures. Spending time with family on this holiday is always so enjoyable!

If you’re looking for fun Easter games to play at your family gatherings this year, try this free printable Easter bingo! It’s perfect for all ages (even young children) and gives you something fun to do after the ham and cheesy potatoes are put away (or at least that’s what is traditionally on our Easter menu 😉). It also makes a great supplemental activity for an Easter egg hunt or classroom Easter party.

The free printable contains 20 free bingo cards, but there’s an option to get 40 if you need more. The free game includes calling sheets as well.

Free printable Easter bingo game

free printable Easter bingo cards

This fun printable Easter bingo game features a variety of spring and Easter-themed images, including Easter eggs, bunnies, and flowers. There are 24 images total, so each card includes all the images, just in a different order. Like traditional bingo, each card includes one free space in the middle as well.

The free download at the end of this post includes 20 unique bingo cards, which is perfect for small groups, small class parties, or families. They will print two to a page. The printable file also includes calling sheets so you can keep track of which images have been called and you can double check when someone gets a bingo. You’ll need to print two calling sheets total. For your convenience, I’ve included a two-to-a-page set of calling sheets (so just print one of this page) or a full-sized sheet if you want larger images that are easier to see (print two copies of this page).

If you need additional unique game boards for large groups, then you can purchase the full file of 40 different bingo cards in my shop HERE. This full file also includes large size calling cards, which is useful if you want to show your group larger images, that way everyone’s clear on the image being called.

What you need to play this Easter bingo game

  • free printable bingo cards (download at the bottom of this post): you need one card for each player
  • two calling sheets: Cut one sheet into individual images so you can fold them to put in a bowl or hat to draw from (stay on theme and use an Easter basket to place them in!). Keep the other calling sheet to place the drawn images on and keep track of what’s already been called.
  • large calling cards, optional: These are only available in the full file of 40 bingo cards from my shop.
  • bingo markers (game pieces):
    • small candies like Easter M&Ms, jelly beans, Whoppers Robin Eggs, and mini Cadbury eggs are all great options for Easter bingo markers. Choose your favorite, but make sure it’s something that won’t melt too easily when handled.
    • You could also purchase plastic bingo chips like these to keep on hand for classrooms, etc. so you don’t have to buy candy every time you play bingo.
    • If you choose to laminate the printed bingo cards, you can also use dry erase markers to check off the images right on the laminated card.
    • Some people like to play bingo with dot markers, but I recommend against this since it’ll make your printed pages a one-time use, and that’s no fun.
  • prizes: optional, but definitely adds to the fun of playing bingo! Candy bars, mini Play-Doh, or small Easter toys make good prizes for kids (but definitely choose something that caters to the age group of players).

Prep the printable Easter bingo cards

Download and print the bingo cards. Use a paper cutter to cut around each card (or just cut each piece of paper in half).

If you want to be able to use the cards again in the future, I recommend laminating them (I love this laminator–such a great investment! I use these laminating sheets with it).

Print the calling sheets as well, saving one to use as is. With the other one, cut the images out and fold each in half. If you prefer, you can also print and use the larger calling cards. Place in a bag, bowl, or hat–this will be the draw pile.

How to play Easter bingo

Before starting the game, determine what rules you want to play by and be sure everyone understands them before playing.

For example, you need to decide what constitutes a bingo (usually getting 5 in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) and whether one person can bingo just once or multiple times in the same round. Also, decide when to clear the game boards and start a new round (could be after the first bingo or after several).

Give everyone a unique bingo card and some markers. Because the cards have a free space, everyone can place a marker over it to start–it’s just a freebie. Designate one person to be the bingo caller, who draws an image out of the bag/bowl/hat and calls it out to the group (they can show the picture and/or describe the image to make sure everyone finds the right one). Each player then places a marker over that image on their bingo board.

Continue calling images until someone gets 5 in a row and calls out “Bingo!” Double check their markers against the call sheet and award a prize. Keep playing or start a new round, for as many rounds as you want or until prizes are gone.

For best results, print at 100% scale (select borderless printing on your printer settings if needed) and print on white cardstock or paper–regular copy paper is fine if you plan to laminate the cards.

You may print as many copies of these as you need (for personal use), but remember that each person needs a unique game board to prevent multiple bingos at the same time (it may still happen by chance, but it’s less likely with unique cards). If you need additional cards, you can purchase the full PDF file HERE which contains 40 cards.
