Free Printable Play Doh Valentines for Kids
These free printable play doh valentines are perfect for classroom exchanges and valentine parties. They also make great birthday party favors for kids!
What kid doesn’t love getting Play-Doh?! (Okay, I’m sure there are some, but my experience with my son is that he would play with it all day, every day, if I let him.)
I whipped up these cute valentine printable cards to go with a mini Play-Doh pot, making this the perfect non-candy valentine option for your kid’s class exchange or for Valentine’s Day party favors. 4 out of the 5 printable valentine cards would also work great as a birthday party favor!
These cute printable valentines feature a rainbow border and fun play doh puns. There is also a spot to write who the valentine is from.

Ah, I think these are the cutest valentines! Get your free printable valentine cards below!

What you need to make these Play-Doh valentines

- white cardstock
- a color printer
- the free printable valentine (download at the end of this post)
- paper trimmer or scissors
- masking tape or large glue dots
- mini Play-Doh pots: This set of 42 is a great value, this set of 65 is even cheaper per pot, this one’s great if you only need 15 or less (it’s the one I purchased), or grab this one that also comes with adorable mini play doh cutters!
If you go with the play doh set that also comes with mini cutters, I would place everything (printed card, play doh pot, and cutter) in a bag like this and tie with a cute ribbon bow.
How to make play doh valentines

Download the printable below. The PDF includes five different cards, printed on a single page. The play doh puns say:
- DOH you want to be my valentine?
- You are DOH best!
- You are a won-DOH-ful friend!
- You are DOH-rrific! (I fixed the spelling in the printable to better resemble the word “terrific”, so ignore how it’s spelled in my photos 😜)
- You are DOH-tally awesome!
Print on white cardstock at a high quality, 100% scale, and select borderless printing to make sure none of the design gets cut off. Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut out the cards.
I used a little bit of wide (1.14″) masking tape folded over on itself to attach the Play-Doh pots to the cards. I felt like it was strong enough, but you could also try glue dots (you might want to use several on the back).
Don’t forget to have your child write their name next to the “From” and you’re ready pass out your valentines!
