Free Printable Pop-It Valentine Tags for Kids
Pop it toys make great valentines for kids! These free printable valentine cards say “Have a poppin’ Valentine’s Day!” and go perfectly with fidget toys.
Fidget toys make the best valentine gifts for kids! They’re a fun alternative to valentine’s candy and they’re perfect for preschool or elementary school classroom exchanges.
I designed some free printable Valentine’s Day cards to go with pop it toys. They say “Have a poppin’ Valentine’s Day!” and “You make my heart pop!” and include a spot to write who the valentine is from. The digital downloads include a variety of shapes and sizes so you can find the perfect valentine tag for your pop toy.

These are a big hit with kids of all ages and something the whole class will enjoy! Get the free printable cards below!

What you need for these pop it valentines

- white cardstock
- a color printer
- the free printable valentines (download at the end of this post)
- a paper cutter or scissors
- a hole punch (I like to use a smaller one like this)
- string or ribbon
- pop it toys: I bought this set of key chains and was very happy with the quality! I also found some larger heart-shaped pop its in the dollar section of Target if you want to spend a little more or only have a few valentines to give. You could also check dollar stores or Walmart’s seasonal section around Valentine’s.
- small cellophane bag: If your pop toys don’t include a key chain or spot to attach the printable tags, you may want to purchase some clear treat bags to put the toys in, then you can tie or staple a tag to the bag.
What are pop it toys?
Not sure what a pop toy is? It’s a small fidget toy, usually a silicone shape consisting of bubbles that you can pop back and forth. They’re pretty fun, great for younger kids, but even adults may find them relaxing (ask me if I’ve ever played with my son’s at church…). There are lots of cute pop toys available–if you’re looking for something different than the key chains, here are some fun ones to check out:
- 4-pack variety of fun shapes
- alphabet owl pop it (fun & educational!)
- pop balls (I need to buy these for my son, he’d love them)
- pop it bracelets (if you go with this option for valentine gifts, these DIY labels would be perfect!)
How to make these pop it valentines

Download the valentine cards below–they’re instant download, so it’s super easy! You can choose from three styles (circle, heart, or square shape) and small or large sizes. (Clearly I was having a hard time deciding what to design, so hopefully one of those works for you! 😜)
Print on white cardstock for best results. Set your printer settings at 100% scale and select borderless printing so none of the design gets cut off. You can also send to your local print shop if you want a higher quality print.
Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut out. Write who the valentine is from (there wasn’t room for a “from” on the front of the heart tags, but you can write on the back if you want).
Punch a hole at the top of the tag and tie to your pop it toys! So simple and fun!
