These free printables include cute borders of colorful leaves, pumpkins, buffalo check, scarecrows, and sunflowers. All of these full page borders have a white background (or light-colored background), making them great for so many uses. Some designs include lines, which is perfect for writing letters or making lists. (If you see any design that does or does not have lines and wish it was the other way around, drop a comment below and I’ll add it to this post!) This collection of free printable borders includes a lot of traditional fall colors (lots of warm oranges and browns), but there are some pink or blue pages as well!

How to use these free printables

Each autumn border is available as its own PDF file, so all you have to do is click the image of the design you like and the file will open in a new tab, ready to download or print. No zipped folders or complicated downloads! I don’t even ask you for your email address before offering freebies–you’re welcome!

To download the file and save to your computer for future use, click the download button at the top of the tab that opens containing the file (the image of an arrow pointing down). The download will most likely go into your downloads folder on your computer and you can access it from there or move to another location. Or, if you just want to print the file from the browser tab that opens, click the printer icon.

If you want to customize the digital papers before printing, you’re in luck! You can open the file in a program like Adobe Acrobat to add text or tweak it for your needs. If that sounds a little too complicated (no worries!) or you’re using another program like Microsoft Word, you can also pre-print the page border you want to use, then run the paper through your printer again to print your document onto it. Super easy!

These printable borders are designed for standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper size (US letter size). I’m sure you can print on other size paper, but I haven’t tried it so use your printer dialog settings to size it correctly and do a test print first. (Using system dialog should give you a preview of the print image, too.)

For best results, print on white printer paper or cardstock and select borderless printing so the designed border prints all the way to the edge. You can also send the files to a professional print shop if you need high quality prints.
