Free Printable Glow Stick Valentines
These cute printable valentines say “You make my heart glow, Valentine!” and go perfectly with a glow stick gift. These make great classroom valentines!
I’m really enjoying coming up with non-candy valentine ideas. You just never know what food/candy allergies someone in your kid’s elementary school class might have, and coming from a mom who can’t have gluten and avoids artificial dyes (it’s me), I very much appreciate the alternative valentines!
These glow stick valentines are a great option and who doesn’t love glow sticks?! These are so simple to put together, especially with the free printables I created. They say “You make my heart glow, Valentine!” and have a spot to write who it’s from. I hope you love these!

What you need to make glow stick valentines

- white cardstock
- color printer: Mine obviously is not the best so I’m not going to recommend it to you, haha. (If you have recs for me, I’m all ears! 😆) You can always send these printables to a local print shop, too–that’s when I’ve had the best prints, but I’m too lazy to do that for every printable I create. (Seriously…I’d love recommendations of a home printer that prints true, vibrant colors…)
- the free printable valentines (download at the end of the post)
- scissors
- single hole punch
- glow stick bracelets: I got mine from Dollar Tree, but this is another good option
How to make glow stick valentines

Download the free printables below. Select which page you want to print: there are two versions in the PDF file, one with an extra heart outline to make cutting the valentines a little easier and one page without if you prefer to freehand cut the hearts (or if you want to cut each valentine into a square instead).
Print at 100% scale and select borderless printing so none of the design gets cut off. Print on white cardstock for best results.
Cut each valentine heart out with scissors. I freehand cut mine–which is when I realized it might be nice to have a larger heart outline to guide where to cut, so I added that second page option to the PDF.
Using a single hole punch, punch a hole at the top right and bottom left of the valentine. You can use my photos as a guide. You just want to make sure to leave a spot to fill in the “from”–which you can write in at this point.
Stick a glow stick through the punched holes so it goes behind the valentine. Be careful not to snap the glow stick and accidentally activate it early–let the recipient do that!
