20+ Free Printable Valentine’s Day Cards for Kids

Looking for unique and easy valentines for kids? These free printable valentine cards are perfect for classroom exchanges, valentine parties, favors, and more!

I have the best memories of exchanging valentines as a kid!

Well, except for that one time I drew a cute little picture of a boy and girl kissing on my 2nd grade valentine box and got made fun of and ended up in a puddle of tears…

And then there was that time that I wrote “I love you” in tiny print at the bottom of my 4th grade crush’s valentine and he confronted me about it the next day, at which point I acted completely dumbfounded, all while going beet red…

Yeah, the best memories. 🤣

I do love Valentine’s Day, though! And picking out the valentine cards that I was going to exchange with friends in my class was definitely a highlight (I’m looking at you, Lisa Frank and Backstreet Boys…swoon).

All that to say…welcome to this post where I designed a whole bunch of free printable valentine cards for you and your kid(s)! Yes, you could go out and buy your own valentines. But these free printables are a great way to save money and an easy way to make unique valentines that feel a little more homemade (with hardly any work on your part!).

There are a ton of cute printable valentines here. All are instant download (I don’t ask you for any info, you’re welcome) and you can use as many times as you want for personal use! (Hint: Save this post to return to for next Valentine’s, too!)

How to use these printable Valentine’s Day cards

All of these free printables are in PDF format. Print at 100% scale and select borderless printing to make sure none of the design gets cut off. I recommend printing on white cardstock for best results.

Since all of these tags are in full color, I definitely recommend a color printer or sending these valentines cards to a local print shop for high quality prints. If you can only print in black and white (or want to save printer ink), the printable tags linked at the end of this post have some black and white options you could use (though they might be a little more boring for kids).

Use a paper cutter or scissors to cut the tags out.

A lot of these valentine printables fit eight on one page, making these great for mass-producing valentines for elementary school classes or large groups. Simply fill out the “from” and attach to a small treat or gift. Putting valentines together is a fun activity for kids, too, so don’t forget to grab yours to help!

Who/what can you use these free printable valentine’s cards for?

These free printable cards are specifically designed for a classroom valentine exchange, but they can also be used for:

  • Valentine’s Day gifts (for anyone)
  • valentine party favors
  • preschool classes
  • teacher gifts (to or from)
  • neighbor & friend gifts
  • primary gifts or gifts for ministering sisters
  • birthday party favors

A lot of the valentine card sets include at least one card that says Happy Valentine’s Day. But there are multiple cards that can be repurposed for other times of the year and other gift-giving occasions! So don’t limit yourself to just Valentines Day!
